HK Trip – Day 5 (Sunday 27 Feb)

I was woken up by the telephone ringing at around 1:30pm. To my horror, it was the hotel housekeeping that wanted to know what time they could come to clean the room. So bloody “duh” lor… Sigh…

Got out of bed, washed up and left the hotel at 2pm. Went to Wan Chai for brunch before shopping around the area. Besides being in a bookstore for a couple of hours looking at the Chinese books that were Made In HK. Was contemplating buying them but the thought of the weight and space the books are gonna be, I did not buy them.

Was at a CD / VCD / DVD shop browsing and ended up with more DVDs. This time it was the music DVDs. Got a total of 6 DVDs. Was tempted to buy the Made In China CDs too. They were selling at HKD20 each. Cheap cheap too! Think I shall come back again if I don’t see them in Mongkok.

Reached the hotel at around 10pm. Chatted with WL and found that he enjoyed his trip to Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha. It is an unforgettable experience feeling the cold weather, the serenity and the peacefulness one gets by simply looking at the surroundings and the Buddha.

Slept at around 12am and looking forward to another brand new week tomorrow.
