7 April 2006 - Three Times...

three times... i slept twice... Gene slept once... total three times... that more or less summed up the movie... directed by Hou Hsiao Hsien, starring Shu Qi and Zhang Zhen...

i shall not watch another arty farty movie on a friday night at 9:50pm any more... was so tired by then... and couldn't understand a single thing about the movie... though the gang was discussing about what the three stories meant... from lesbian bisexuals... to politics about China and Taiwan...

i must say i enjoyed the soundtrack a lot... now i'm in love with Aphrodite's Child's Rain And Tears...

before the movie, Chris and i had dinner at Lao Beijing Plaza Singapura... nice noodles... great soup and delicious dumplings... the 芝麻糊 was a disappointment though... Chris said probably it's near closing time... hence they added water to it which explained its "wateryness"... hehe...

the lesbian couple next to us were having much better food than us... Peking duck... doufu... etc... which made Chris commented that ladies are better at ordering food afterall... lolz...
