High High Friday - 28 April 2006

before leaving the office for Sophia's farewell dinner, we opened a bottle of red wine brought my WF... it was a 1998 bottle... very smooth red wine... had about half a glass... was feeling a little high after that... couldn't stop moving my body on the way to Brewerkz...

dinner at Brewerkz was superb... these were what four of us shared:

after dinner, we adjourned to Clarke Quay for a drinks... no seats at Crazy Elephant... so we ended up in Forbidden City... very nice decor inside but we couldn't find seats... so we were outside, facing the river...

i had the following drinks:
1. Cosmopolitan
2. Manhatten
3. Coney Island Tea

we ordered Bourbon Coke, Long Island Iced Tea and Coney Island Tea for WF, who was celebrating her birthday that night too... after all those drinks (including the red wine from office), she still looked alright... unlike me, i was quite high after that...

guessed tonight must be an eye-opening night for some of my colleagues, who've never seen me so rowdy, crazy after work... and the first time they saw me smoking too... btw, i am only a social smoker, i.e. when i club cos if you can't beat them, join them...

after all that drinks, i went to MoS to meet up with Kerry (and his friends) as well as Jensen (and his friend)... as usual, the music sucks generally... only from about 1:30am did it pick up... i was dancing like a zombie... alcohol makes me sleepy and i was practically dancing in a state of zzzzz...

we left at 3+am... took a cab home, showered and slept...

total damage for the evening was about $150... it was worth it... cos the company was superb!! but must still watch those wallets... once in a while still ok lah...
