Sarah's Dad...

received an SMS from Sarah this morning that her dad has passed away yesterday... an end to his suffering... may he rest in peace...

called her immediately to find out how she is doing... glad to know that she and auntie are taking it well...

consulted mum on whether i could attend the funeral on Saturday... since my birthday is just around the corner... Chinese superstition states that it is not good to have a happy event and a sad event happening at the same time... mum says to attend the wake but not the funeral... i shall make a trip down on Thursday...
