it has been three weeks since i came back from my vacation in NYC...
so much has happened during these three weeks...
first week was in a daze mainly due to the jetlag...
it was beyond my expectations and imaginations...
three days on and i had barely 6 hours of sleep...
finally decided to see the doctor for some sleep-aiding pills...
and i slept like a baby after that...
internet connection to my PC has come to a crawl...
due to a Trojan infection...
it was James who alerted me to it...
installed the latest anti-virus and everything was up and running again...
of course that came with a price: insomnia...
celebrated my uncle’s birthday at Orchard Café in Orchard Hotel...
featuring the Korean buffet...
was not impressed...
coincidentally, it was the same place i had dinner with some of the Ugly Dolls the following week...
went for 2008 Kusu Pilgrimage with my family...
this is our third consecutive year...
hopefully it can become an annual event in our family calendar...
went to see a fortune teller...
my first time doing this...
generally health issues aplenty...
gotta change job and change industry...
gotta change my wardrobe due to wrong colour...
as well as some other remedies...
well, since i have decided to go for it, will have to take precautionary measures...
else, why do it??
slowly, everything takes time...
hopefully everything can be completed before the new lunar year in end-January 2009...
visited the Singapore Biennale 2008 and started doubting the meaning of “arts”...
but nevertheless it was still an eye-opening and mind-boggling experience...
looking forward to displaying my own art pieces in the Singapore Biennale 2010, featuring cum, condoms, faeces as art...
managed to pass my IPPT with flying colours: $200 silver award...
but then it is always easier to pass the test when it was conducted in-camp...
glad that my unit did that specially for us...
completed my 2.4km run in around 11 minutes 30 seconds...
my own personal best...
all thanx to the weather which was cloudy and perfect for running at 4:30pm...
i should consider training to improve my chin-ups to 6 and my running to below 10:44...
then i will be able to receive the $400 Gold award...
did my first facial and back treatment since my return...
a total of 4 hours with the beautician...
amazing but refreshing...
saw my first movie since my return...
and first movie since Mamma Mia! in September 2008...
one of the longest, if not the longest, movie drought for me...
High School Musical 3 was entertaining...
some of the songs were catchy enough to lift the show up...
been eating a lot of local food since my trip...
mee siam, mee rebus, roti prata, prawn noodles, etc...
simply adore the food here...
much better than NYC...
the thought that i had lost 1.5kg in NYC makes me shudder...
November is my birthday...
always a special month...
and always a good special month...
birthday celebrations unofficially starts on 13th...
followed by 14, 15, 18, 20, 22, 23, 27, 29 & 30...
