HK Trip – Day 10 (Friday 4 Mar)

The visit to the branch was postponed to Monday afternoon cos one IPO started trading today and the AEs at the branch would be busy with clients’ orders.

The documents are starting to come in. Not more interviews today. Instead, we’re starting on our testing.

==========

In the evening, Aric and Alton brought us out to dinner. We went to this Shanghai restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui called Wu Kong. Ordered a few dishes and chatted with them.

After dinner, the gals + WL went to Esprit outlet for shopping. Aric, Alton and I went for dessert at The Sweet Dynasty (Tang Chao). Before that we met Joann, Alton’s wife at HMV. Joann is also working in Phillip Hong Kong. She's at the Central Branch. No wonder she said that she would see me on Monday. Hahahaha... Aric is a dessert freak. He had 2 bowls of dessert while the rest of us had only 1.

We also checked out the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which was just across the branch. Unfortunately the trading floor was closed by the time we reached and we could only looked in from the glass door. There were rows of computer and the floor seemed quite big.

Went to a nearby office building which houses some foreign ambassies and banks. Took some pics there.

Toured another building, where we can check in for our flights from here (city).
