Farewell My Friend...

today, desmond is leaving for Melbourne for good... he's migrating (after so many years of talking about and planning for it)... hehe...

was at the airport with kerry to send him off... together with some of his friends and of course, his parents... i'm usually not very good at such occasions... somehow i know that it's gonna turn out to be sad and teary... not really my style... but then again, we're talking about a fren whom i've known for more than 9 years... we have to be there... right, kerry?

was discussing with kerry about how heartbreaking it would be for the parents... to see their child leaving for another country for good... and indeed, desmond's mum was in tears outside the departure gate... i was feeling kinda moody the entire day (for some other personal reasons)... controlled my tears when i saw the scene... desmond's eyes were also red and i guessed he must have really tried his best not to shed tears in front of his parents... even his very close friend, olivia, was crying... of course, i know desmond will be back now and then... but it's still different from living here...

farewell, my friend... take good care in Melbourne... we'll come visit some day... cheers...
