What A Crazy Week...

what a crazy week it had been... four official working days... 1.5 days on course... and the remaining 2.5 days were unproductive cos i was in meetings after meetings... sigh... but of course i still looked forward to the long weekend...

well, my ex-boss was on overseas leave... and i am the most senior around... hence anything and everything came to me... though i was officially out of that department already... that's life...

had my appraisal done with my director... not too bad... considering my ill-health last year and having to start the Internal Audit Department from scratch, with only a couple of staff with me... but we made it... of course, we're still very much in our infancy... a lot more waiting to be done... and i'm welcoming the challenges ahead... set myself a target of the end of the year to get everything in place... and looking at things now, i would say we're doing ok... a little stretched, no doubt... but i'm sure we can make it...

looking forward to the performance bonus to be paid out on 28 May 2006... the average this year for my level is 3.25 months... hope to at least get this amount... then i will set aside 25% of it to retail therapy... so many things to buy:
1. backpack
2. sports watch
3. ipod nano (probably will use the Progress Package)
4. blades (probably will use the Progress Package)
5. new office wardrobe for casual Fridays
6. etc
7. etc

saw The Magic Fundoshi on Tuesday night... hilarious... R-rated... was shocked at the finale... when Emma Yong came out... shocking Asia... not that she bared her breasts (ala Janet Jackson)... but by the flabs (and i don't mean the acronym for flat abs)... Robin Goh did a wonderful job... far much better than his previous role in Army Daze... and boy! he had a great body... those abs... to die for...

Glen Goei did a marvellous job by announcing at the beginning that when the red light at the top of the stage is on... offensive materials would be presented... the audience could then close their eyes if they prefer not to be offended... self-censorship indeed...

mum & dad, together with my aunt, uncle and elder brother, flew to Hatyai for a short holiday... Bon Voyage... told mum to buy 3 Absolut Vodka, 1 Jim Bean and 4 red wine @ duty free... time to booze... anyone??
