Dinner

supposed to meet up with Ming and Juliet for dinner tonight at Lau Pa Sat... Juliet just came back from Texas after a 2.5-year posting there and she was craving for local food... couldn't think of anything else except LPS...

received Juliet's SMS in the morning stating that she had to cancel the dinner appointment cos her doctor is putting her through a colon-cleansing programme due to her weight problem... this had caused her to visit the toilets frequently...

i SMSed K about dinner with D and he said i could join them... thanx, pals!!

dinner was at some Chinese restaurant in the Civil Service Club in Bukit Batok... quite a big restaurant, comparable to a five-star hotel ballroom... the menu was fixed for Mother's Day... it was an eight-course dinner... good food... and great company...

i started getting rashes on my hands immediately after dinner... probably due to the tiger prawns... but we couldn't be certain... K passed me some oil to relieve the itch... it worked (for the time being)...

reached home and the itch started again... got worse during my sleep... applied the patches with cream and ointment... was scratching the entire night... and the itch spread to the body and thighs... couldn't sleep... sigh...
