Good Friday 2008...

had a wonderful Good Friday long weekend in Singapore...
did not plan any overseas trip for this period...

the eve was spent watching Rule #1...
yet another the horror movie by Kelvin Tong...
personally i enjoyed The Maid a lot, hence decided to go along with Kerry on this movie...

entertaining and scary enough...
although the twist at the end left me with questions...
so the dance scene between Ekin Cheng and his wife did not happen eh??
Fiona Xie is nothing but an extra in the movie...
her acting was bad... and the dubbing made her sound like a robot... without feelings...

Good Friday was spent lunching with my AGO ex-colleagues...
i was busy entertaining Ming's son Lucien that i did not get to chit chat much with Ming and Ju...
Ming is a tai tai now while Ju is still working as hard as ever...
Ju, please get to relax more, ok??

next was tea with the Ugly Dolls at the same place, Sun With Moon...
kinda funny to be having lunch and tea at the same place...
was discussing about Kenneth's birthday celebrations...
the guest list now stands at 11 with two more maybes...

after shopping at Tangs, we decided to catch a movie, The Orphanage...
another horror movie... this time in Spanish...
quite a simple plot but the movie was intense...
a mother's love for her son never dies...
until she sees the dead son...

after movie, we had our proper meal at SBC food court, the underground one next to Palais Renaissance...
ordered my favourite satay bee hoon, mee goreng, hor fun and deep fried baby squids...

took the MRT home after that...
on the bus from AMk, i was busy checking out the two books i bought from Borders...
Paulo Coelho's The Witch Of Portobello and Jeffrey Deaver's The Sleeping Doll...
