KL Day Three...
had the same “nothing-to-shout-about” breakfast at the hotel...
took the cab to Mid-Valley for World of Feng Shui (WOFS)...
bought a couple of things, including the calendar...
bought a few t-shirts at Philosophy...
their stuffs were quite expensive but nice...
also bought a cheena bag with the words “为人民服务” (translated into “serving the people of the country”) on it...
think i shall give it to dad...
met up with KC for lunch at my all-time KL favourite, Kim Gary...
glad to know that KC will be coming back to KL from Langkawi...
also heard from him that Eric is doing well and fine in Langkawi...
unfortunately KC’s dad was hospitalised but recovering well...
KC had to rush off after lunch to the hospital to spend time with his dad...
so sweet of him...
more shopping after that...
while Jason and Shaun went to The Garden, Sonny and i continued with Mid-Valley...
bought another t-shirt from Seed...
with the words “I Love Happy Endings” on it... kawaii neh...
we met up at 4:30pm and took a cab back to the hotel...
Shaun decided to rest while the three of us continued with more shopping...
bought two t-shirts from one shop in Bukit Bintang Plaza...
luckily i have slimmed down considerably to fit into the small free sizes now...
all thanx to Herbalife...
dinner was at a restaurant at the end of Jalan Alor, near to our hotel...
thank God they do have air-conditioned seating...
we ordered black pepper crabs, satay, barbecued chicken, asparagus and tofu...
nice food, especially the chicken...
after dinner, i last minute decided to take a cab to Petaling Street aka Chinatown...
walked through the night markets without buying anything...
except for the famous longan drink which we all had...
somehow the Chinese New Year atmosphere is still not here yet...
eventually we took a cab back to the hotel to wash up...
met up with James and Gary at Frangipani, which was quite near our hotel...
cover charge of RM30, inclusive of one drink...
James was so drunk after two rounds of the super potent Long Island Tea...
he made everyone who came out onto the balcony to introduce themselves to all of us...
the funniest has to be his kissing his ex-colleague...
and of course asking the same guy at three different times for his name...
do not underestimate the power of alcohol...
at around 1:30am, we decided to end our last night in KL...
headed back to the hotel and slept...
