The Day After Good Friday...

woke up at 9am... wanted to sleep longer... but succumbed to my body clock... had breakfast, bought 4D... and finally got through The Arts House ticketing hotline to book tickets to Singapore GaGa...

left the house at 12pm... met my Jedi Knight, Jasen, at The Arts House...

Singapore GaGa was a good piece of local documentary... the main point (to me) was about music... from toy pianist Margaret Leng Tan to the cha kiak man @ Raffles Place MRT; from harmonica performer to "one-dollar" tissue seller; from the voices behind those MRT announcements to the news announcements in various dialects on radio...

i especially enjoyed the part about why we were made to learn to play the "useless recorder" in schools... instead we should have been taught to play the harmonica or some other instruments...

some pictures i've taken at The Arts House... trying to be arty farty in the angle and stuff... failed miserably...

after the show, we went hunting for food... from Golden Shoe to China Square to Far East Square... ended up having bread and half-boiled eggs at Ya Kun... we headed to Chinatown to buy CDs... spent about $54 on 3 CDs...
