conducted an interview with a lady candidate this afternoon... she's young, 25 years old...

D: how do you think you will fit into the job that we are offering?
C: i'm not sure...
D: ... ... ...
(after a pause)
D: why did you apply for this job?
C: i have to work long hours in my current job... sometimes i have to work until 2am during our peak period that can last up to 2 weeks...
D: ... ... ...

D: do you have any experience in securities trading?
C: no...
D: are you familiar with the various legislation governing the securities trading industry, e.g. the Securities & Futures Act and the Singapore Exchange rules?
C: no... but i can read up...
D: ... ... ...

D: how would you rate your writing skills?
C: not very good because i have not written for a while... my current job doesn't require me to write reports...
D: how about presentation skills cos we have to do presentations to staff, etc...
C: besides during my poly days (which was many many years ago), i have not presented anything to anybody...
D: ... ... ...
