Officially... Unofficially...

i am officially broke after my New York trip...
was amazed at the five-figure sum i have spent for 9 days...
was able to reconcile the finances...
but not what i have bought...
lolz...
will try to save up from now until CNY in 2009...

aborted the idea of visiting Borders last night...
knowing my inability to control my spending on books...
was at some Japanese shop in Central on my way home...
tempted by the orange flavoured Pocky...
but at $4 a pack... i decided to eat the oranges mum bought at home instead...

went for a run in the evening...
my first run since the Army Half Marathon in August...
training for the StanChart half marathon unofficially starts then...
finished 9km in 1 hour...
bad timing...
will try to improve as each run goes by...

just now during lunch...
went out to get FREE newspapers...
ended up spending money again...
this time on some fengshui stuff...
one compass and one string of me and my allies (Rat, Dragon, Monkey)...
the lady says they can do a free reading of my flat and my office...
of course her objective is to convince me that i need to place various things around the house and office to boost my luck...
but well, since it's free, why not??
will draw out my floorplan during the weekend...

also bought a Tweety Bird toy for mum...
saw the Halloween version of Pooh...
very kawaii... but gave that a miss...

wish me luck in my transition from frog prince back to the frog...
eat flies everyday...
